Carolina Panthers v New York Giants

The Panthers concluded mandatory minicamp last week, and they are now in the quietest part of the off-season before training camp opens next month. After going 2-15, it’s fair to say that expectations aren’t high for the Panthers entering the 2024 season, with progression being the most important thing for Bryce Young, as he enters his second season in the NFL. With that in mind, there are people that do think that Carolina can compete next season, after boosting the offensive line, and adding multiple weapons for Bryce Young to utilize in the passing game.

One of those pundits is Sheena Quick, who covers the Panthers for Keep Blitzin’, and earlier today, she joined the Mac & Bone Show on WFNZ and expressed her belief that they could win 8-9 games, this season, which seems like a far cry after what we witnessed last season. Sheena cited the fact that the NFC South is still one of the worst divisions in the NFL as a reason why Carolina, could quadruple their win total this season, combined with a schedule, that if the Panthers improved the way that they hoped they did in the off-season, should set them up to be more competitive right off the bat.

You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s #1 morning show), every weekday from 6-10 AM, on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ, and the WFNZ app.
