Wes & Walker debate if the Panthers signing Jadeveon Clowney to a two-year “prove-it” deal was a smart move for the team. Does the pass rusher still have gas in the tank and will he be able to replace the productivity of Brian Burns?

Wes believes that Clowney wants to continue playing after his two-year deal is up in Carolina and the only way to do that is to ball out while he’s here. He seems very motivated to help out his hometown team and himself in future deals. Wes also believes that he is a great veteran presence in the locker room who can help the other pass rushers develop on the defense.

Walker thinks that Clowney has the body and the mentality to age well and won’t lose much production because of his age. He also says that Clowney being good against the run as well as the defense will greatly impact the squad.
