Last week, the ACC held its annual spring meetings at Amelia Island, with both football and basketball entrenched in their respective off-seasons. There was a lot to talk about, considering that two schools, Clemson and Florida State are actively suing the league, as they are seeking an exit from the conference, which overshadows the league not getting the respect they want on the playing field, after FSU was left out of the College Football Playoff, and schools like Wake Forest and Pittsburgh were left out of the NCAA Tournament.
Andrea Adelson covers the ACC for ESPN, and last Thursday she joined the Wes & Walker Show on WFNZ, to recap all the major storylines from the meetings, as she talked about the latest regarding Clemson, and Florida State’s lawsuit against the league, how the ACC can close the financial gap, her thoughts on all the local teams coming out of the spring season and more.
