One week after Spectrum News 1 featured Charlotte FC play-by-play commentator Will Palaszczuk, Mike Solarte turned the spotlight to co-commentator Jessica Charman.
Charman made waves as one of a select few of female commentators aligned with a single team on every game broadcast, and the only English language color commentator on every game for a club.
Her feature comes in concert with Charlotte FC’s Girls & Women In Sports Match this weekend. Charlotte FC has spent the week honoring women connected in the soccer community who have worked to further representation in the sport.
