Mike Solarte Previews The Stanley Cup Finals
For the first time since 2006, the Carolina Hurricanes have made the Stanley Cup Finals after a historic 12-1 overall run in the postseason. The Sports Director for Spectrum 1 News Mike Solarte joined Kyle Bailey to discuss the run by the Canes, and what to expect from Las Vegas in the Finals.
When it came to his expectations for the series, Solarte told Kyle that Vegas is a bigger, more experienced club compared to Montreal, but he believes the Canes style of play will be effective against the Golden Knights, but the margin of error will be smaller compared to previous rounds.
Mike would go on to discuss GM Eric Tulsky’s impact on the Canes, and how much the game of Hockey has grown over the past 5 years.
