Tracy McGrady: I Love The Passion This Hornets Team Is Playing With
With less than a month to go in the regular season, the Charlotte Hornets have the last play-in spot, with a chance to climb up the rankings over the next couple of weeks. NBA Hall of Famer & NBC Sports Analyst Tracy McGrady joined Kyle Bailey to discuss the growth he’s seen from the Hornets this year.
Tracy told Kyle that he had his eyes set on this team ever since the addition of Kon Knueppel last year, and he thinks Charles Lee has done an amazing job in getting these guys to buy into who they are and what they can be, and Tracy admitted the last few months has made him see that LaMelo Ball can be the starting PG for a playoff team, which he didn’t believe not that long ago.
The conversation with Tracy shifted to whether or not the Hornets need to make a big move in the near future, and the impact Dell Curry had on his career as a teammate.
