The NCAA Tournament gets underway tonight in Dayton, Ohio, as the NC State Wolfpack look to take down the Texas Longhorns and advance to the Round of 64 against the BYU Cougars on Thursday. For Wolfpack fans, they are hoping this is the start of another magical run in the tourney and they might just be the favorites amongst the local Cinderella options.

The 12-seed in the West Region, High Point, is another team that many are excited about heading into the tournament after they were a popular upset pick a year ago. This year, the team is blowing out opponents by an average of 19.7 points per game and is scoring the third-most points in the country at 90.0 per game. They will begin their tournament run on Thursday at 1:50 PM on TBS against Wisconsin.

The longshots are the 15-seeded Queens Royals and Furman Paladins, who both won their conference tournaments after failing to win the regular season titles. Queens’ first game will be on Friday at 7:35 PM on truTV against the Purdue Boilermakers in the West Region. As for Furman, they will tip off against the Connecticut Huskies on Friday at 10:00 PM on TBS.

Earlier today, the Wes and Walker Show discussed these teams and told which one they believe has the best chance to be the local Cinderella. Who do you think has the best chance to make a run? Be sure to lock it in as part of the WFNZ Bracket Challenge by clicking here.
