Charles Lee On How The Hornets Grew Up Despite 2 Tough Losses
We have now reached the point where playoff basketball is right around the corner, and the Hornets currently hold onto the final play-in spot with a small cushion over Milwaukee. Hornets HC Charles Lee joined Kyle Bailey to discuss what went wrong in the losses to the Heat and Suns and how they’ll grow from this experience.
The last 2 games have been hard fought, but the Hornets came up short in both of them, and when looking back on what went wrong, Coach Lee told Kyle that they have to be better at executing late against Miami, as well as defending the glass and trying to better defend the likes of Tyler Herro and Collin Cillespie, but despite that, Charles made it known that these experiences have helped this young squad grow.
Charles would go on to discuss how teams are starting to defend them differently, and if he wants Brandon Miller to hunt his shot more moving forward.
