Joe Person Delivers Free Agency Primer on WFNZ

The NFL’s legal-tampering period gets underway at noon, as teams are allowed to agree to deal with free agents, although they won’t be made official until Wednesday, when the new league year begins. The Carolina Panthers are expected to be very active in the legal-tampering period, with needs on both sides of the football needing to be addressed before the NFL Draft later this spring. Dan Morgan, who is entering his third season as the Panthers GM, was able to make big moves on day one in each of his first two off-seasons, and he will like to do the same today.
