Larry McReynolds Recaps Tyler Reddick’s Daytona 500 Win

Sunday marked the 68th running of the Daytona 500, and the race came down to the last lap, where Tyler Reddick was able to survive multiple wrecks to win his first 500. Former 2-Time Daytona 500 winning Crew Chief and Fox NASCAR Analyst Larry McReynolds joined Will Palaszczuk to recap the chaos.
Larry was quick to point out how you could’ve easily made the case for quite a few drivers to have a legit shot to win the Great American Race on the final laps, but with Tyler Reddick, Larry noted how his teammate Riley Herbst got Reddick into the mix, and he was able to make his move on both Chase Elliott and Zane Smith in the final half-mile to get the win, and Larry thinks this could be a huge confidence boost for Reddick, who last won back in October of 2024.
The conversation surrounding the 500 would go on to discuss whether or not a caution should’ve been thrown on the last lap, and what to expect this weekend at Echopark Speedway outside of Atlanta.
