Brian Windhorst: The Hornets Have Incredibly High Upside

NBA All-Star weekend is right around the corner, and it comes at a time when the Hornets have been the hottest they’ve been in a long time, just coming off a 9 game winning streak. ESPN NBA Insider and 2x New York Times Bestselling author Brian Windhorst joined Kyle Bailey to break down the current state of the Hornets.
One of the biggest factors surrounding the improved play for the Hornets has been the health of their stars, as Brian told Kyle, because of the early injuries to both Brandon Miller and LaMelo Ball, the team’s record is misleading, as he noted that he views Brandon Miller as the quintessential modern NBA player, and he gave credit to the Hornets front office for how they’ve handled LaMelo’s minutes to help keep him healthy, and he thinks both parties have shown tremendous growth throughout the season.
Brian would go on to react to the suspensions of both Moussa Diabate and Miles Bridges, as well as what he expects from Coby White with the Hornets.
