On Saturday, the greatest rivalry in sports wrote its latest chapter, as UNC beat Duke 71-68, in the Smith Center, only leading for the final 0.4 of the game, after senior guard Seth Trimble swished in a three, to complete the 13-point comeback. It was the first-ever buzzer-beater for UNC in the rivalry, and their largest comeback win over the Blue Devils in the last 25 years. The loss to UNC was the first ACC loss for Duke this season, but dating back to the loss to Houston in the Final Four last year, all three of Duke’s most recent defeats have featured a double-digit blown lead in some capacity, something Jon Scheyer needs to clean up uf Duke hopes to make a championship run next month.

Earlier this morning on the Mac & Bone Show, former UNC guard and national champion, Joel Berry II, as Berry raves about Carolina’s dramatic comeback win over Duke, and where both teams go from here, he talks about the play of the sensational freshman on both sides, and more.

You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s #1 morning show) every weekday morning from 6-10 AM on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ and the WFNZ app.
