Jeff Peterson On Where The Hornets Stand After The Deadline
The NBA trade deadline for the 2025-26 season has come and gone, and the Charlotte Hornets did not stand pat as they made a couple of moves before the clock struck midnight. Hornets Executive VP of Basketball Operations Jeff Peterson joined Kyle Bailey as he recapped the moves the Hornets made at the deadline.
When it comes to the Hornets deadline moves, the one that got the most attention was the trade for former Tar Heel and Bull Coby White, as Jeff told Kyle that Coby has the intangibles he wants and, is a winner, and as always been a player he’s been fond of and he told Kyle despite Coby being on an expiring deal, they hope that he will be with the team for a long time.
Jeff would also break down the decision from last month regarding LaMelo coming off the bench on the first night of back-to-backs, as well as his expectations for the rest of the year.
