Dan Morgan: We Want To Be Smart When Building This Team
It’s been nearly 2 years to the day since Dan Morgan was introduced as the GM of the team that drafted him in 2001, and for the first time in 8 years, the Panthers made a postseason appearance. The current GM of the Panthers joined Kyle Bailey as he reflected on the 2025 season and what’s next for the Panthers.
One of the first questions Kyle asked Dan was if the recent trip to the playoffs, along with the playoff atmosphere, could maybe help entice Free Agents to come to the Carolina’s more than before, as he told Kyle that he believes Carolina is a really attractive place with the culture, the coaching staff that Dave Canales has built, and it’s a young, hungry squad, so he believes that Carolina could be enticing for free agents.
Dan would also answer whether or not the Panthers would take a big swing this offseason, and how Ickey’s injury impacts the offseason plans.
