Mac & Bone Recap Panthers Playoff Loss

Despite trailing 14-0, the Panthers did take a lead in the fourth quarter twice on Saturday, before falling to the Rams 34-31, in the NFC Wild Card round. Matthew Stafford, the presumptive favorite to be the league MVP, engineered a game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter to push the heavily favored Rams in the Divisional Round this weekend. As you could expect, emotions were raw after the game, both from the fans and the players’ perspective, as you can’t deny the progress the team made this year, combined with a missed opportunity to win a playoff game for the first time in a decade. All of that set the stage for a lively edition of the Mac & Bone Show, as the guys talked through the loss this morning on WFNZ.

In the final hour of the show, the guys talk about the non-Panther action over the weekend, including thoughts on the rest of playoff football, and wins for the Hornets, Duke & UNC, before they take a look at the Panthers off-season, they preview the night in sports, they read funny texts & more.
