Panthers activate David Moore, release Hunter Renfrow
The Panthers made roster moves ahead of their playoff game, waiving Hunter Renfrow and Demani Richardson while activating David Moore.
Renfrow, who battled ulcerative colitis, had a key catch against Dallas earlier in the season. Richardson, an undrafted rookie, had been inactive for the last four weeks.
Moore, who had been on IR since Week 4, was activated before the deadline. Guard Robert Hunt could also return from IR, leaving one roster spot open.
The Panthers additional made their fourth roster move Tuesday ahead of their first postseason practice, activating guard Chandler Zavala’s 21-day practice window from injured reserve.
Zavala has been sidelined with a calf injury and can be added to the 53-man roster at any point over the next three weeks.
Carolina faces off Saturday against the Los Angeles Rams at Bank of America Stadium at 4:30 p.m.
