Mac & Bone Recap Panthers Loss to Seattle

With a chance to clinch the NFC South yesterday, the Panthers fell to the Seattle Seahawks, 27-10, setting up a winner-take-all showdown with the Bucs on Saturday afternoon. Carolina’s offense never found its footing, throwing for just 54 yards, while converting more fourth downs, than they did third downs. Two costly turnovers set the Seahawks up with short fields, which they converted into touchdowns. While the Panthers were busy losing to Seattle, the Bucs were in the process of losing to the Dolphins, which would’ve allowed the Panthers to clinch their first division title since the magical 2015 season. That missed opportunity set the stage for a lively Mac & Bone Show, as the guys returned from their Christmas vacation.

Jim Szoke, longtime member of the Panthers Radio Network, joins the show, as Szoke talks about the offensive struggles yesterday at The Bank, he does praise Seattle, and their defense, and he sets the scene for the winner-take-all game on Saturday afternoon in Tampa Bay.
