Vashti Hurt On The Panthers Mindset Heading Into New Orleans
We’ve reached the homestretch of the NFL Season, and the Carolina Panthers are in the thick of the NFC South race with a 7-6 record coming off the bye week. Vashti Hurt of Carolina Blitz joined Kyle Bailey to set the scene for the Panthers upcoming road trip to New Orleans to take on the Saints.
One of the biggest talking points heading into this game revolved around the Panthers first performance against New Orleans, which saw Carolina put up a stinker in a 17-7 loss just a month ago, but despite all of that, Vashti noted that both Bryce Young and Tetairora McMillan have put that game behind them as they ride the current wave they are on while trying to clinch a spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
Vashti would go on to break down the injury reports for Carolina coming off the bye, and how David Tepper taking a step back has helped the franchise as a whole.
