Al Wallace Previews The Homestretch Of The Panthers Season

It’s been a long 13 weeks, but the Panthers have finally reached the bye week with a 7-6 record and are firmly in the hunt for a playoff spot in the NFC. Former Panthers DE Al Wallace joined Kyle Bailey as he recapped the win over the Rams, and what needs to happen after the bye for the Panthers to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
When it came to what made the difference for the Panthers in their win over the Rams, Al noted how HC Dave Canales started to be stubborn when it came to running the ball, and it forced the Rams defense to get tired, and it led to big passing plays on 4th down as Al hopes to see Canales to continue to stubbornly run the ball in the future, and the turnovers on defense were a major factor, but Al noted that moving forward, this team is going to have to find ways to get pressure on the QB in the final 4 games in the regular season.
Al would continue to discuss Derrick Brown’s impressive comeback season in the interior and how he hopes to see a more consistent version of Bryce Young to end the 2025 season.
