Jake Delhomme: This Offense Is Scratching The Surface

Sunday saw a historic performance from the Panthers offense as Bryce Young threw for a record 448 passing yards in a thrilling OT win against the Falcons. Former Panthers QB Jake Delhomme joined Kyle Bailey to break down what he saw in the booth and where the Panthers offense goes from here.
Jake started by recapping the historic performance from Bryce, coming just a week after a rough performance against New Orleans, as he pointed out that the skill players on offense are still young and still developing. He believes the last 2 weeks are proof of that with the extremes in performance, but Jake noted that it looked like Bryce was trusting himself more than he was last week. Jake also credited decisions such as moving Tetairoa to the slot at times threw some new wrinkles into the offense, along with getting Jalen Coker more involved helped in the offensive production as well.
The conversation with Jake shifted to the possibility of postseason football returning to the Carolinas, and what he is expecting on the Panthers first Monday Night game since 2023.
