Down 21-7 late in the first half, it didn’t look like Victory Monday would be taking place on the Mac & Bone Show, but the Panthers captured another dramatic comeback victory, behind a historic performance from Bryce Young, to beat the Falcons 30-27 in overtime, earning a regular-season sweep of Carolina’s biggest divisional rival. After a week of talking about being more explosive in the passing game, Bryce Young set a franchise record, with 448 passing yards, along with three scores, in the win, and that included after he left the game briefly with an ankle injury, which had him limping to his post-game press conference. After the entire show picked Carolina to win the game on Friday, you knew that today’s show would be a lively one, as the Panthers are 6-5, and squarely in the NFC playoff hunt.
