Jake Delhomme Looks At Where The Panthers Are Growing
The Carolina Panthers find themselves in a spot they haven’t been in that often over the last decade, in the hunt, and after Sunday’s win over the Packers, the belief is growing in the Queen City. Former Panthers QB turned radio analyst Jake Delhomme joined Kyle Bailey to discuss the growth the Panthers continue to show.
When it came to Sunday’s victory, Jake heaped praise on Dave Canales and his ability to make tough decisions early on, and he thinks the decision to make Rico the feature back gave the team an extra boost, to go alongside Tracy Smith’s decision to receive the ball to start the game compared to deferring to put them in a big spot late for a potential game-winner gave this team extra confidence because Canales showed confidence in his team.
Jake would go on to discuss how the offense is still going through some growing pains, and why fans shouldn’t expect to blow out the Saints on Sunday.
