Steve Smith Sr. Breaks Down The Panthers Win In Green Bay
For the first time since late in the 2008 season, the Carolina Panthers left the city of Green Bay with a win, thanks to Ryan Fitzgerald hitting his 2nd Game-Winning FG of the year. Panthers legend and NFL Network Analyst Steve Smith Sr joined Kyle Bailey to recap the Panthers win, getting them back over .500 on the year.
Steve started by saying this was a great win for the Panthers, especially in how they accomplished it on the defensive side of the ball, and that sticking with Rico Dowdle as your feature back was big, as Steve told Kyle that it’s pretty clear that Rico is a tone-setter for this team. Steve would also praise the performances of both Derrick Brown and A’Shawn Robinson in the win.
The conversation shifted to some of Bryce’s struggles against the Packers, and if we should start talking about the playoffs here in Carolina.
