LaMelo Ball Makes History in Hornets’ Blowout Win Over Wizards

LaMelo Ball led the Charlotte Hornets to a commanding 139-113 victory over the Washington Wizards on Sunday night, delivering a standout performance on both ends of the court.
Ball finished with 37 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists, earning his first triple-double of the season and the 11th of his career. His stat line also made him the first player in Hornets history to record a 35-point triple-double.
After the game, a reporter asked him which stat meant the most to him.
“The win. Yeah, the win means the most,” Ball said.
Ball has started the season strong, averaging 28.3 points, 8 rebounds, and 9.7 assists through three games.
The Hornets will look to keep the momentum going when they face the Miami Heat on Tuesday to close out their three-game road stretch.
