Mac & Bone Recap Carolina’s Loss to the Bills

After three straight Victory Monday’s on the Mac & Bone Show, it was back to reality for the morning show, after the Panthers lost 40-9 to the Buffalo Bills yesterday, to earn their first loss at Bank of America Stadium, and even their record at 4-4 on the 2025 season. Bryce Young didn’t play due to an ankle injury, and veteran Andy Dalton struggled to find any rhythm in his first start since last November. Furthermore, Carolina’s run defense had no answer for James Cook, who had the type of success running the football that Carolina had in previous weeks against the Dolphins, Cowboys, and Jets. This set the scene for another fiery edition of the show, which talked about the loss from all the different angles from which it happened.
Mac & Bone start a Panther Monday, like they have many Monday’s in the past, venting about a blowout loss, after Carolina fell to the Bills 40-9, they do a quick recap of the local college football weekend, & they play the best audio from a busy sports weekend, including another epic Eric Collins call.
In the second hour, Mac & Bone tell you who to blame after the Panthers to the Bills, including the run defense, Dave Canales, and Andy Dalton, Jim Szoke gives his view from the booth from yesterday’s outcome, and the guys come to the defense of Bryce Young, after Andy Dalton’s struggles yesterday.
