For the third straight Monday, it was a Victory Monday on the Mac & Bone Show, after the Panthers beat the Jets, 13-6, to improve to 4-3 on the 2025 season. It marks the first time since 2021 that the Panthers are above .500, a sign that the rebuild that Dan Morgan and Dave Canales laid out, is in fact, working. The win marks the first road win of the season, the second road win of Bryce Young’s NFL career, and it marked the second time this season, the Panthers defense hasn’t allowed a touchdown. Not bad for a unit, that gauged as the worst defense in the history of the NFL. All of that, set the scene for another fun show, basking in the glory of watching this team play winning football again, something that didn’t seem plausible after the 1-3 start.

Mac & Bone start another Victory Monday, talking about the Panthers win over the Jets yesterday, to give the Panthers a third straight win, and improved the team to above .500 for the first time since 2021, they do a quick recap of the local college football weekend, before playing the best sounds from the sports weekend, including Dave Canales’s victory speech.

In the second hour, Mac & Bone hand out their flowers after the win over the Jets, with a lot of love and praise for Derrick Brown, Jim Szoke joins to give his view from the booth from Carolina’s third straight win, and they dissect just how effective splitting the carries between Rico and Chuba really was.

Longtime member of the Panthers Radio Network, Jim Szoke joins the show, as he gives his view from the booth from the win over the Jets, he talks about a stellar defensive performance, what he made of how the Panthers split carries between Rico & Chuba, how concerned we should be about Bryce’s injury, and more.

In the third hour, Mac & Bone do another edition of college football Pumped or Pissed, as local fans either sound off about a win or loss their favorite team registered over the weekend, they open the phone lines to hear from Panther fans after a third straight win, and they talk about the continued defensive improvement under Ejiro Evero

In the final hour of the show, Mac & Bone go over their biggest conclusions from another massive weekend in college football, including Mac showing love for Notre Dame, before they talk about the biggest story around this Panther team, which has won 4 of 5, they preview the night in sports, they read funny texts, and more.

You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show, (Charlotte’s #1 morning show), every weekday morning from 6-10 AM, on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ, and the WFNZ app.
