The Hornets 2025-2026 campaign is now just a week away, and all that stands in the way are a couple of preseason games. HC of the Charlotte Hornets, Charles Lee, joined Kyle Bailey to discuss the growth of multiple players and how some of the rookies are adjusting to life in the Association.

The longest tenured Hornet for the past few years has been 2018 1st round pick Miles Bridges, and Charles Lee told Kyle that over the last few months he has seen the former Spartan take on a greater role as a vocal leader, and that not only has he seen the impact, but he noted how Kon Knueppel told him how much having Miles on the court to guide him has helped as well, and Charles believes if Miles keeps this up, it will not only help him play better, but it will only help the team’s performance be better as well.

Charles would go on to discuss what he has seen from rookie big man Ryan Kalkbrenner in the preseason so far, and how Grant Williams has progressed from his injury he sustained last year.
