Steve Smith Sr Weighs In On The Panthers Taking Down Dallas
For the first time since November of 2021, the Carolina Panthers have a .500 record after defeating the Cowboys 30-27 to improve to 3-3. Legendary Panthers WR Steve Smith Sr. joined Kyle Bailey as he weighed in on the Panthers win, as well as Rico Dowdle’s historic play over the last 2 weeks.
Rico Dowdle has been the biggest story over the last 2 weeks with his historic performances against both the Dolphins and Cowboys, as Steve told Kyle that he believes the plan for when Chuba Hubbard gets back from injury should be to have Rico be the starting back because he hits the holes quicker than Chuba does and he sees that it’s easier for the offense to stick with the run game with Rico in as the starting back as compared to Chuba.
Steve would also go on to discuss the growth of Trevin Wallace throughout his 2nd season so far, and if the Jets could be a trap game for the Panthers.
