Steve Smith Sr Recaps The Panthers Comeback Win Over Miami
Despite being down 17-0 early in the 2nd Quarter, the Carolina Panthers fought back for their 2nd win of the season by defeating the Dolphins 27-24 at home. Panthers legendary WR turned NFL Network Analyst Steve Smith Sr. joined Kyle Bailey to break down the biggest factors behind Carolina’s comeback victory.
When it came to what stood out the most during the Panthers win, Steve went to RB Rico Dowdle stepping up in Chuba Hubbard’s absence with over 200 yards rushing, as Steve noted the yards were great, but his efficiency while running the ball is what really made his performance special and Steve thinks it might force the hand of Dave Canales to get him more involved alongside Chuba Hubbard once he gets back.
Steve would go on to weigh in on the defensive performance against the Dolphins, as well as the up-and-down day for Bryce Young.
