Hubbard Out Against Dolphins With Calf Injury

Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard will not play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins due to a lingering calf injury, according NFL Network.
Rico Dowdle is expected to start in Hubbard’s place, with Trevor Etienne and DeeJay Dallas providing depth.
Hubbard played through the injury in last week’s loss to New England but saw a reduced workload.
Head coach Dave Canales said earlier this week that Hubbard didn’t recover as well as expected and needed rest.
Through four games, Hubbard has recorded 53 carries for 217 yards.
