A week after dispatching the Atlanta Falcons 30-0, the Panthers followed that performance up by getting blown out by the New England Patriots, 42-13, in a game that should’ve come down to the final quarter, maybe even the final possession. After scoring a touchdown on their opening drive, it looked like Carolina was ready to follow up last week’s effort, but the Patriots responded by scoring the next 42 points, on their way to a convincing win, leaving Mac & Bone to pick up the pieces during today’s show.

Mac & Bone start another depressing Panther Monday, talking about the Panthers getting blown out in  New England yesterday, to fall to 1-3 on the season, they do a quick recap of the local college football action, as Wake & State suffered losses, and they play the best audio from a busy sports weekend.

In the second hour, Mac & Bone tell you who is most to blame after the Panthers blowout loss yesterday to the Patriots, Jim Szoke gives his view from the booth from the tough outing, and they talk about where they stand with Bryce Young, after another loss on the road.

WBT Hall of Famer, Jim Szoke, joins the show to talk about yesterday’s rough result for the Panthers, he talks about what went wrong on special teams, what to make of Bryce Young’s continued road woes, and more.

In the third hour, Mac & Bone let local college football fans either brag or rant during Pumped or Pissed, they open the phone lines to hear from Panthers fans during the Pulse of Panther Nation, and they talk about how much blame Dave Canales deserves for yesterday’s performance.

In the final hour, Mac & Bone deliver their conclusions from another action pack weekend in college football, before debating if the Panthers erased all the goodwill they had earned after the Falcons win, with the loss yesterday to New England, they preview the night in sports, they read funny texts, and more.

You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s #1 morning show), every weekday morning from 6-10 AM on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ and the WFNZ app.
