Steve Smith Sr Reacts To The Panthers Shutting Out Atlanta

For the first time this year, the Carolina Panthers left Sunday’s home-opener victorious as they shut out the Atlanta Falcons 30-0. Panthers legend and NFL Network Analyst Steve Smith Sr. joined Kyle Bailey as he recapped what stood out the most in the Panthers dominant victory.

When it came to Sunday’s game, Steve was a bit surprised with how emphatic the win was, but he noted outside of a mistake on special teams, Carolina played a robust game across the board. Bryce Young didn’t have the game that would blow you away on the stat sheet, but Steve told Kyle that it’s good to have an efficient game before you have an amazing game.

Steve would go on to discuss the Panthers defensive performance against Atlanta, and the challenge ahead with New England on deck this weekend.
