Vikings, Panthers Finalizing Trade Sending Thielen Back to Minnesota

The Minnesota Vikings and Carolina Panthers are completing a deal that would send wide receiver Adam Thielen back to Minnesota, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The trade will send Thielen, a conditional 2026 seventh-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick to the Vikings. In return, the Panthers would receive a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 fourth-round pick.
The 35-year-old vet spent 10 seasons with the Vikings before joining Carolina in 2023. The two-time Pro Bowler recorded 48 receptions for 615 yards and five touchdowns last season.
His reunion with the Vikings comes as the team begins the season without wide receivers Jordan Addison, who is suspended, and Jalen Nailor, who is sidelined with a hand injury.
