Kyle Bailey Reacts To Hunter Renfrow Being Cut By Carolina
Cut-down day remains one of the hardest days in the NFL calendar as all 32 teams have to cut their rosters from 90 to 53 players in a matter of a few days. The Panthers had to do the same thing, and amongst all the cuts, former Clemson WR and former Pro-Bowler Hunter Renfrow was the biggest cut the Panthers made to get the roster to 53.
The news came just minutes before the start of The Kyle Bailey Show as Kyle noted how this was a possibility for the WR trying to make a comeback due to the stacked WR room, but it still was a bit of a shocker. Kyle and Smoke went on to discuss what might have hurt Hunter’s chances, as they both agreed that the hamstring issue that occurred the week of the Browns game took away vital reps and allowed a guy such as Brycen Tremayne to get much-needed snaps, and that could have been the difference maker.
Kyle and Smoke would continue to delve into some of the other cuts on the Panthers roster, and if Hunter Renfrow could still be with the Panthers on the practice squad in the coming days.
