Vashti Hurt Puts the Panthers Preseason in Perspective

The 2025 preseason came to a close last night for the Carolina Panthers, with a 19-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, as Carolina failed to win a single game in the three-week tune-up ahead of the regular season. Dave Canales gave the starters the night off last night, allowing the coaching staff to have a full game to evaluate the reserves battling for a spot on the 53-man roster, which will be made official next Tuesday.
Vashti Hurt, who covers the Carolina Panthers for Carolina Blitz, joined the Mac & Bone Show earlier this morning on WFNZ to talk about the preseason coming to an end, as she talked about how she sees the WR room taking shape with roster cuts next week, why Lathan Ransom is poised to start sooner rather than later, and more.
You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s #1 morning show) every weekday morning from 6-10 AM on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ and the WFNZ app.
