Week 2 of the NFL preseason gets underway starting tonight, with the Carolina Panthers back in action tomorrow, as they’ll take on the Houston Texans, with the starters expected to get around three series of work, after playing two drives last week against Cleveland. Like they did last week, the two teams held a joint practice session ahead of the preseason, something that has become popular across the league in recent years. This allows the teams to work on what they want to work on, but in a controlled environment, as opposed to an actual game setting.

Joe Person, Panthers beat reporter for The Athletic was on hand for yesterday’s joint practice, and earlier this morning, he joined the Mac & Bone Show on WFNZ, as he gave a first-hand account of what happened at yesterday’s joint practice between the Panthers and the Texans, he talks about guys that have had a good training camp so far, what he makes of the ongoing battle at kicker, and more.

You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s #1 morning show) every weekday morning from 6-10 AM on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ and the WFNZ app.
