Roman Harper On If The Gamecocks Can Take The Next Step

The month of August is no longer in full swing, which means that football season is officially underway, and we are now just a few weeks away from college football finally being played. Former NFL Safety turned SEC Network Analyst Roman Harper joined Kyle Bailey to preview the SEC football season.

One of the more intriguing teams in the conference is the South Carolina Gamecocks, who are coming off a 9-win season. Despite multiple star players returning, Roman has his doubts that they can take the next step due to losing a lot of starters on the defensive end, and while QB LaNorris Sellers is a very talented QB, Roman notes that the weapons for the Gamecocks are too big of a question mark.

Roman would go on to discuss whether or not Georgia could take a step back this year, and what his expectations are for the Carolina Panthers with Bryce Young entering year 3.
