After a long off-season in Carolina, training camp opened up this week in Charlotte, ahead of the 2025 NFL season, with two practices officially in the books, and pads set to be put on next week. A different vibe is around the team after a strong finish to the 2024 campaign, but there is a different energy around training camp, with no fans in attendance this year or the next. Fan Fest will be the only way to see the team practice before the first preseason game, as the roster will quickly come in to form in the next couple of weeks. With that in mind, the last two days on the Mac & Bone Show, the guys got the best Panthers beat writers and reporters on to talk about the start of training camp.

First up was Sheena Quick of Carolina Blitz, who joined the guys yesterday, as Sheena gives her thoughts on the play that ended the first practice of training camp, she talks about what’s next for the defense after releasing Josey Jewell, what she makes of Bryce Young entering Year 3, and more.

In addition to having Sheena Quick on yesterday, Nick Carboni of WCNC joined the show as well, as he talked about the start of Panthers training camp, including the play that ended practice early, how the Panthers shape up at LB without Josey Jewell, and more.

And then earlier today, the guys were joined by Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer, as Mike talked about what he’s seen from the rookies, how he sees certain roster battles going, and of course, Bryce Young.

You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s #1 morning show), every weekday morning from 6-10 AM on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ, and the WFNZ app.
