UNC football tickets sold out for Belichick’s first season

Kenan Stadium is officially sold out for the 2025 UNC football season, the school announced Wednesday.
“With a little more than a month to go before the start of the 2025 Carolina football season, all tickets (season and single game) at Kenan Stadium are sold out,” the Carolina Athletic Department said on the website.
“Fans who want to watch eight-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick coach at home his first season with the Tar Heels should visit SeatGeek, the official marketplace of Carolina Athletics.“
This marks the earliest ticket sellout in the program’s history and comes ahead of Bill Belichick’s first year as head coach.
UNC will open the season on Labor Day, Sept. 1, with a home game against TCU.
Belichick was hired in the offseason following the departure of former coach Mack Brown.
The university is paying him $10 million and has added 70 new players to the roster, a mix of transfers and recruits.
