Chris Jent Recaps The Hornets Summer League Title Run

The 2025 edition of NBA Summer League in Las Vegas was a one to remember for the Charlotte Hornets as they went undefeated, capping it off with the Summer League Title victory over the Kings by a score of 83-78. The Head Coach of the Summer League squad, Chris Jent, joined Will Palaszczuk to recap what stood out the most over the 6 games in Sin City.
Heading into Vegas, all Hornets fans were intrigued by what 4th overall pick Kon Knueppel would have to offer in his first games in the purple and teal, and Chris told Willie that what stands out is how even-keeled he is on the court and he is selfless to everyone and it’s infectious and he believes Kon played a big role in how the chemistry of this team was able to gel so quickly.
Coach Jent would also go on to discuss some of the other Hornets who had standout performances in Vegas, and how the last few weeks can help build the culture moving forward.
