Scott Hallenbeck On How Flag Football Continues To Grow
Right now is a big time for USA Flag Football as in less than 2 weeks, over 10 countries will compete in the US Summer Series out in LA, and that doesn’t include Flag Football becoming a sport for the 2028 Olympics when it comes to Los Angeles. USA Football CEO and Executive Director, Scott Hallenbeck joined Kyle Bailey to discuss the continued growth of Flag Football across the World.
One of the main topics Scott covered with Kyle is the possibility of star NFL Players trying to join the US Flag Football team in 2028 as Scott said, discussions between US Football and the NFL have been ongoing with plenty of stuff to work out, but he also noted that we shouldn’t be shocked if we see elite athletes from other sports and colleges could attempt to make the US Flag Football team in the future with many opportunities up for grab.
Scott would also go on to break down how he has seen flag football grow throughout the World, and how they are trying to ensure that Flag Football is a sport in the Olympics beyond 2028.
