In the least shocking news of the 2020 season for the Carolina Panthers, Christian McCaffrey has been listed as doubtful for Saturday’s game at Green Bay and is anticipated to miss his 11th game of the year. He hasn’t played since the closing seconds at Kansas City on November 8.

The Panthers are on the road at Green Bay in late December facing the number one team in the NFC. How's that for a challenge? At least it's going to be fairly balmy by Lambeau standards – temperatures are forecast to be in the low 30's at kick-off on Saturday (8:15/Radio: WBT)

A stunned crowd of 12,092 at Hard Rock Stadium watched the Hurricanes surrender a school record 778 yards of total offense to the Tar Heels, mostly on the ground with a 10.1 yards per carry average.  Neither team came into the game competing for an ACC championship, but a possible Orange Bowl berth was very much alive for winner.

It’s one thing to blow a lead on the road against a team that is generally considered to have more talent than you, but it’s entirely something else to lose at home with an extra week to prepare for a team that that by most accounts is inferior. Denver beat the Panthers 32-27 at Bank of America Stadium.
