The Carolina Panthers were shut out for the first time in 21 years on Sunday in Jacksonville, as the offense to a major step back from an extremely productive performance against Green Bay the week prior. No one is talking about the result on the field, though. Instead, the attention is once again on owner […]

The Panthers 2023 season only continues to get worse as not only did Carolina get shut out for the first time in over 21 years, but Owner David Tepper threw a drink at a fan causing national controversy. Joe Person joined Kyle Bailey to break down the Panthers current situation and what could happen this […]

During the Panthers 26-0 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday, footage emerged of Panthers owner David Tepper, throwing his drink at a Jaguars fan, as the game was coming to an end, Since then, there has been quite the discussion about the punishment that the league office would hand down, and if Tepper, not known to talk willingly, would issue a statement on the matter. Both transpired in the last hour or so, as the NFL handed down its punishment.

There wasn't a coach that talked more than Charlotte head football coach, Biff Poggi did last year in the preseason, entering his first season on the job. Poggi made bold proclamations that the 49ers would finish top-15 nationally defensively, and would compete to win the AAC, in their first year as a member. None of those things happened, as the 49ers finished 3-9 on the season, and they were 89th in scoring defense.

After suffering back-to-back losses against high-profile competition, #11 North Carolina was seeking a win over a ranked opponent, to validate its position in the polls at #11. That opportunity came in the Jumpman Invitational, as UNC met #7 and previously unbeaten Oklahoma, in Charlotte. After a scoreless first two minutes, R.J. Davis swished in the first bucket of the game, and the Tar Heels never looked back on their way to an 81-69 win over the Sooners. Davis was one of four starters to score in double figures, as Armando Bacot (14), Cormac Ryan (13), and Harrison Ingram (11), all produced on that end of the floor. Carolina was able to overcome another poor rebounding performance, as they lost the rebounding battle 41-34, another sign that this isn't your vintage UNC rebounding team.

When you're 2-12, there are a lot of areas that need to be addressed to become not only a winning team, but a competitive team once again. Everybody knows that Carolina needs help along its offensive line, and in the wide receiver room, to get the most out of Bryce Young, as he looks to cement himself as the franchise QB he was drafted to be. On the Wes & Walker Show earlier today on WFNZ, they tried to identify what underrated part of the team needs to be addressed the most, and their answers may surprise you.
