The NFL Scouting Combine is winding down, as we get closer to the start of a new league year and the 2024 NFL Draft. Of course, the Panthers don't currently own a first-round pick, after trading it away to Chicago last year, when they traded up to #1 to draft Bryce Young. While some coaches opt not to speak during their time in Indy, Canales made sure to get behind the podium, to talk about what his staff has worked on since being put together, and what they are looking for and hoping to achieve in the Draft, despite having limited draft capital.

The NFL world will be focused on Indianapolis next week, for the annual NFL Draft Scouting Combine, with the Super Bowl now two weeks in the rearview mirror. While it's an important week for the college athletes in attendance looking to impress the various scouts, GMs, and head coaches, the week will also be filled with many closed-door conversations ahead of free agency, which starts in March, once the new league year begins.

Monday was the opening to the franchise tag window, meaning all eyes in the Panthers fanbase are back on edge rusher Brian Burns as his pursuit of a long term deal with the team continues. On Wednesday, Panthers beat writer for The Athletic Joe Person had a report that the team was willing to go […]

When the calendar turns to March, it'll be a sign that the new league year is close, and free agency will soon be upon us. In the coming days, many teams around the NFL will begin to designate certain players for the franchise tag, in hopes of reaching a long-term deal as the off-season moves along. A position that will dominate the free agency period, will be the wide receiver position, with many stars potentially being available on the open market.

With the Super Bowl officially in the books, the next item on the NFL's agenda will be the NFL Combine, followed by free agency, once the new league year begins in March. After a 2-15 season, the Panthers desperately need upgrading their roster if they want to compete in 2024. In today's NFL, teams can change overnight with their ability to sign players, but Carolina will be handicapped by having just $31 million in cap space and having to resign some of their players, including Brian Burns and Frankie Luvu.

Thursday night, the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced their class for the 2024 ceremony which will take place in Canton later this summer. Headlining the group was the Panthers first-ever drafted player for the team to go in, defensive lineman Julius Peppers, who was in his first year on the ballot. While that was […]

Julius Peppers found out earlier this year that he would be heading to the College Football Hall of Fame and things got a little bit sweeter on Thursday night. In his first season on the Pro Football Hall of Fame ballot, he has been selected to be part of the newest class that will be […]

For the second time in the last month, former Panthers and Tar Heel defensive lineman Julius Peppers found out that he will be heading to a hall of fame. In his first season on the ballot, Peppers was selected for the Pro Football Hall of Fame when the announcement was made at the NFL Honors […]

The Carolina Panthers choice to promote Dan Morgan to their GM role this offseason was one that was met with some push back. Many fans and media personalities didn’t understand why the team would go in-house to replace Scott Fitterer after the type of season that the team had with their first real roster after […]
