Time is a flat circle.  That's how it feels to read a report by J. Michael of the Indianapolis Star that the Hornets have interest in acquiring Pacers Center Myles Turner this Summer.

"Sean Ryan (Panthers Quarterback Coach) even was asked about rebuilding Sam Darnold as if he was Anakin at the end of Episode 3, soon-to-be Darth Vader."

Hornets Center Bismack Biyombo joined Nick Wilson and Stan Norfleet on Friday to talk about his friendship with LaMelo Ball, when he knew the Hornets rookie was special and why the Hornets were blown out by Indiana in their NBA Play-In tournament appearance.

The NBA league office issued a statement on Bonnell's passing saying, "The NBA family is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Rick Bonnell, a devoted NBA reporter who began covering the Charlotte Hornets in their inaugural season more than 30 years ago."

This upcoming offseason is a vital period of time for the rebuild of this franchise. This team obviously needs an overhaul in the frontcourt, but also needs to answer which parts are worth building around LaMelo Ball and which are expendable. General Manager Mitch Kupchak said repeatedly this season that they felt they were ahead of schedule, but this fanbase won't accept another season of stagnation. 

Charlotte ends the regular season dropping five straight games, including three to games that could've moved them up to hosting Boston in the initial playoff round. They took an eleven point lead into the fourth quarter, but were outscored by Washington in nearly a two-to-one margin throughout the final 12 minutes.

The Charlotte Hornets clinched a spot in the postseason play-in tournament.
