NFL moves Carolina at Washington to 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday

The NFL announced changes for Week 16’s games on Tuesday morning. The kickoff for the Carolina Panthers (4-10)  vs. Washington Football Team (6-8) has been moved from 1 p.m. ET to 4:05 p.m. ET (TV:CBS/Radio: WBT).

Washington remains in first place in the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys (5-9), N.Y. Giants (5-9) and Philadelphia Eagles (4-9-1) still in contention for a Playoff spot with two games remaining.

Six games are now scheduled for 1 p.m. ET, and four games later in the day at either at 4:05 p.m. or 4:25 p.m. ET.

The Titans (10-4) and Packers (11-3) will be featured on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Both teams are atop their respective divisions with Green Bay clinching a playoff spot as the NFC’s top team.

A Monday Night game between the Buffalo Bills (11-3) and New England Patriots (6-8). Buffalo clinched the AFC East title with its victory over Denver, the third time in four seasons the Bills are heading to the playoffs. A different story for the Patriots, who will miss the postseason for the first time since 2008.
