The Carolina Panthers sign former Minnesota Vikings’ WR Adam Thielen to a three-year deal.
According to sources, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport the Panthers had agreed to a $25 million contract with Thielen, with $10 million guaranteed in the first year.
After nine seasons with the team, Thielen was released by Minnesota on March 10.
After trading the No. 9 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, WR D.J. Moore, and future picks for the No. 1 pick from the Bears, Thielen joins a Carolina receiver squad.
Thielen joins the team as the most seasoned wide receiver. The 32-year-old served as Vikings WR Justin Jefferson’s No. 2.
The Panthers’ current wide receiver group consists of Preston Williams, Terrace Marshall Jr., and Laviska Shenault Jr.
