The NFL announced they have suspended Carolina Panthers safety Sean Chandler without pay for the first two games for violating the league’s performance-enhancing substances policy.

The fifth-year safety will serve his two-game suspension at the start of the 2023 season. That is not subject to all preseason practices and games this year.

He played in all 17 games last season, seeing playing time mostly on special teams. He has spent the last two seasons with the team.
Chandler will become an unrestricted free agent on March 15.
