As a long-time Davidson fan, I have to say that it's an embarassment that John Kilgo is the radio voice of our team. I hear him co-hosting on "Primetime with the Packman" and he refers to callers as "dumbasses, idiots, and morons". This vocabulary may be the norm at Chapel Hill, but can't we do better than that for someone who represents our institution of higher learning? After our showing in the NCAA Tournament this year and the increased exposure that will come with it next year, we should seriously consider a change at this position. Let's move forward, or at the very least, employ someone who will be pulling for our team when we play against UNC-Chapel Hill.

What's great is that the 3 shows are all very different so naturally people will like them differently. Personally, my favorite is the morning show. It's funny and they toss in chatter about movies and music. Mac wants to make folks laugh too, so he's my 2nd. Packer is WAY to negative and usually has nothing good to say about anyone and Q was funny when he was just a whiner line caller but he gets WAY too much airtime. Please go away Q. Again, that's IMHO. So let's just enjoy our favorites, tune out those who aren't, and enjoy a good game, a cold beer, and some entertaining sports talk.

The reason Pac and Kilgo call him that is to take a cheap shot at Coach K. With him heading the Olympic team Pac and Kilgo will be on the side of every country that will play the U.S.A. men's basketball team. Don't worry because after Lebronz and Coach K win the gold, they will be forced to call him Lebron James.

I actually posted the question, but I believe it is in reference to the 2004 olympic team, where Lebron won just a gold medal...thus Lebronze. The lebronz thing is old.. Kilgo is the radio analyst for Davidson basketball, and during the tournament, he interviewed Lebron during the Wisconsin game and slipped up and called him Lebronzz

Because Kilgo got Lebron to do a radio interview (which it seems he never does). They hit it off and Kilgo called him "Lebronnnz". I didn't hear the interview myself but that's the story they gave on the show yesterday...

That was a big price to pay. This draft was OT loaded, so he could possibly have fallen further than usual because of that. Even that considered, a 1,2,4 for a 19 pick is a heavy price. And as far as there not being great players in next years draft, you won't see them as great until you watch college football next year. Every year there are great players, and there will be next year.

Once again the Panthers have their heads up their ass.They gave up a 2nd ,4th, and 1st round pick to take Ohta who they should have taken 1st over a runningback that they could have picked in the 2nd round.
