2/4/08 - Hitman's Super Bowl on location blog
|
We are finally back in the beautiful Queen City and it’s good to be home. Phoenix was fun and all, but I got to tell ya, Vegas wasn’t too kind. Losing the ranch is never fun!
The game of the night was blackjack and let it ride, and I swear to god I felt like my pockets were being raided. I didn’t go five minutes without reaching in for more money.
The night took off on a rocky start as our pilot that was guiding the flight to Vegas from Phoenix was late. He must have “over slept” if you know what I mean! Frank Garcia was loving his hometown airport. It took Corey Miller 15 minutes to go through security with all the bling he had to take off. Diamond watch that weighed 5 lbs, studded bracelets and chain and a diamond belt. We get to Vegas and Corey is already wiped out. He played two hands of blackjack and called it a night. 1 man down, 3 to go. We toughed it out though, staying up all night, partying like rock stars and losing money hand over fist in Vegas. It was a great time. By the time we got done gambling it was 6 in the morning. Pack and I stepped outside of Mandalay’s Bay Casino and we noticed a Vegas tradition. Out they came. Call girl after call girl, one by one. The clock struck 6 a.m. and there night was over. Hoping in, cab after cab! What a site to see.
At, 8 a.m., we hit up Ceasers for some breakfast. We ate some breakfast and headed back to Mandalay Bay to catch the flight. The flight was awful. Crowded as all hell, babies crying and people sneezing and coughing. It was rough. We landed at 9:45 p.m. EST and the “Dirty 30”, as Pack so elequintly noted, was over.
It wrapped up a great weekend in Phoenix and Vegas for Super Bowl 42. Hope you all enjoyed the blogs and I’ll keep them going throughout the week!
Peace!
